American financial company River has presented a bold forecast regarding the future of Bitcoin in the US corporate sector. According to their analysis, by 2026, 10% of US companies will invest a colossal sum of $10.35 trillion in Bitcoin. This prediction is based on observations of current trends and the successful cryptocurrency investment strategy demonstrated by MicroStrategy.

Daily Investments and MicroStrategy’s Inspiring Example

River estimates that in the coming years, American legal entities will purchase between 200 and 519 bitcoins daily. The company’s experts emphasize that MicroStrategy’s corporate strategy of actively acquiring the first cryptocurrency has become an inspiring example for many American companies. It is expected that soon these companies will convert at least 1.5% of their own reserves into digital currency.

There is already significant interest in Bitcoin from institutional investors. By early July 2024, 534 organizations in the US, including hedge funds, pension funds, and insurance companies with assets over $1 billion, have already invested part of their funds in spot Bitcoin ETFs.

The Future of Bitcoin in the Financial Sector

River analysts predict that by the end of 2026, all major hedge funds, including giants such as Bridgewater Associates, AQR Capital Management, and Balyasny Asset Management, will hold Bitcoin on their balance sheets. According to experts, these financial institutions will have no reason to refuse such a profitable instrument.

This forecast is also supported by other influential figures in the financial world. For instance, Cantor Fitzgerald CEO Howard Lutnick stated that in five years, virtually all American banks will start holding Bitcoin alongside dollars.

Such optimistic forecasts indicate the growing recognition of Bitcoin as a legitimate financial instrument in the US corporate sector. If these predictions come true, it could lead to a significant increase in Bitcoin’s value and its further integration into the traditional financial system.
